Nkana not giving up
Larry Bwalya not for sale say Power Dynamos who are confident of a good season
Power Dynamos will rebuff any formal approach for Larry Bwalya from Nkana, who are said to have registered the Power Dynamos player in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign despite being under contract at Power Dynamos.
Larry Bwalya is on contract, a situation that Power Dynamos do not understand for the disrespect that Nkana has shown in the way they have handled the midfielder, but there remains genuine confidence at Power Dynamos that they will still have the player because no formal request has request has come from Nkana to the club.
Speaking during a Sports Show programme on Sun FM on Saturday morning, Power Dynamos Secretary, and Happy Munkondya said Larry was not for sale and he was in the plan of the coach for the 2018 season.
Meanwhile Ken Mwansa, Nkana secretary was not comfortable to speak on the Larry Bwalya matter on radio and indicated Nkana would make a statement in days to come. It is clear that the Red side of Kitwe are hoping Contract negotiations will be held with Power Dynamos, as it is believed the player is open to a move across the road and join Nkana from Power Dynamos.
This much will clearly depend on whether Power Dynamos do soften their stance and allow the player to join Nkana. Should Nkana win this tussle, Larry Bwalya will be eligible to play in the CAF Confederation Cup ties in March 2018 as Nkana awaits winner between Onze Créateurs of Mali and CR Belouizdad of Algeria on 16th March.
