Senegal star Sadio Mane has been shortlisted for the 2018 Ballin D’or award.
Mane is the only African to be nominated in the initial list which includes the likes of Neymar Jr, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann.
The Liverpool winger has been in blistering form for the reds this season and was equally impressive last season.
Mane has also been on point for Senegal in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers with the Lions of Teranga leading Group on 8 points.
