Liberty Professionals played out an entertaining 1-1 draw game with Medeama SC at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman in the Match Day 3 of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The game started with Liberty Professionals being put under immense pressure by Medeama SC in the opening minutes.
The visitors, however, were forced to making an early change with Ibrahim Yaro replacing injured Ali Ouattara on 20th minute.
It was a fairly balanced game with Medeama SC goalie Eric Ofori Antwi making two crucial saves to keep the game barren.
The first half ended with referee Alphonso Atiapa flashing no card.
The second department began with the Homers piling pressure on the Visitors in search for an opener.
Liberty Professionals almost went ahead through Elvis Kyei Baffour but his feeble strike from close range went wide.
Medeama SC had chances through Michael Yeboah and Prince Opoku Agyemang but squandered them.
Elvis Kyei Baffour put the host infront from the penalty spot after forward Abraham Wayo was brought down in the area.
Medeama SC pushed and probed after falling behind and got a leveller through substitute Nana Kofi Babil ten minutes from full time.
Both teams pressed in the late on the game but neither could force a winner.
Liberty Professionals will travel to face Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium while Medeama SC host Asante Kotoko at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa in Match Day 4 fixtures scheduled to take place between 14-16 January, 2020.
