Nkana Football Club Fans have turned on their head coach Aggrey Chiyangi and his technical team after the teams poor run of form which have seen the Kitwe Giants win only one of their last six games drop to second place ,9 points adrift of log leaders Zanaco.
Nkana where strong favorites to win the title and make it 13 league titles in total, Having won their first 6ive games Nkan where on a high and the fans sung praises of the technical bench. The trouble started when they started meating the big guns as they have failed to beat any of the big boys of Zambian Football losing to Green Buffaloes, Zesco United , Zanaco and only managing a draw against Power has put The Wusakile based out-fit “almost completely” out the race for the title.
Nkana have not managed to beat a team in the top 5 ,losing 3 and drawing one.Coach Chiyangi has insisted he and his team can still win the title but the fans have said enough is enough and want him out.
The fans have taken to facebook to air their grievances in the Clubs facebook group “Nkana Kalampa Aba Red”. The fans are pleading with the Chairman Mr Kabila to relieve Aggrey Chiyangi of his duties as they feel he can not drive the team to their 13th title.
No statement has been released yet by management and it is not yet clear if the management of Nkana will hid to the calls of the fans.
