Former Gor Mahia Head Coach Frank Nuttall is in Ghana to complete Hearts of Oak move in the Premier League ahead of 2017 season.
Nuttall, 48, is expected to seal a 2-year stay with the Phobians according to Ghanasoccernet.com.
While with the Kenyan giants, Nuttall distinguished himself as a master tactician, with insatiable appetite for perfection and success. He won the league on his debut season 2014, before retaining it in a spectacular fashion a year later – going the whole season unscathed.
He also managed to return K’Ogalo to the regional football table – reaching the 2015 CECAFA Kagame Cup final – losing 2-0 to Tanzania’s Azam.
The Scotsman bagged league cup same year and was voted coach of the year.
His short stint in North Africa, with Zamalek, as an assistant coach thereafter, was however shortlived and he didn’t make a mark.
Hearts move will be his only second stint in Africa, a place has confessed true love for.
