The 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League get back in full gear this weekend with Match Day 6 fixtures and certainly, there could be surprises, and heartbreaks by the close of the weekend as the unbeaten run for some clubs on the log sheet comes under threat.

Berekum Chelsea are in superb form that every game they go into already seem destined to end in their favour.

But, the Bibires who sit at the summit of the table would be faced with a tough duel on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Aduana Stars to the Golden City Park with Elmina Sharks trekking to Kumasi to play King Faisal at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Medeama SC will look to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat as they host Ashanti Gold at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa.

However, the weekend’s topliner is at the Accra Sports Stadium where revitalised Hearts of Oak play long time foes Asante Kotoko in a contest dubbed “Super Clash.”

The Phobians recorded a win last weekend against city rivals Liberty Professionals and would be looking to extending that feat to the Porcupine Warriors but would be faced by one of the league’s strongest side.

Edward Odoom’s men are currently holding the 9th spot and remain unbeaten after three games while Maxwell Konadu’s men are returning from a win, victory would lift their confidence to return from Accra with a positive result. Though, it’s going to be a difficult battle, but the cheers and jeers from the Home fans is expected to spur Homers on to go for a win.

Second-Bottom, King Faisal will attempt to get their first three points of the campaign when they rub shoulders with Elmina Sharks at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Legon Cities FC, hurting themselves, from the loss over the weekend vs Aduana Stars are yet to win a game in the league. Victory would calm nerves and hand Goran Barjaktarevic a breather but Bechem United are capable of spoiling the party.

Basement-Dwellers Ebusua Dwarfs, in search of their first win of the season, go back to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to lock horns with Fifth-placed Dreams FC.

West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) will continue their impressive form and increase their points on the log sheet when they host Liberty Professionals at the RedBull Arena in Sogakope.

Eleven Wonders will hope lift themselves from the danger zone as they take on Karela United  while Great Olympics having gained confidence after two good results entertain Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium.
