Gozon Mutale might be a new name on the Zambian soccer scene but his superb skill,talent and anger for glory has seen him win favour among many Zambian football followers. He is surely one with a lot of potential and if he continues on this path he will surely make a name for himself at Arthur davies.
Soka25east:Good evening Gozon,Thank for taking this interview.Can you please tell me ,who is Gozon?
Mutale: You welcome Aaron. Gozon is a simple guy,who loves to play football. Am the fourth born in a family of seven .Am the only male in the family and I was born in Choma.
Soka25east: Can you briefly share you Football path this far?
Mutale : I started playing football in 2000 at the age of. 8 at young stars. In 2005 i moved to just academy in ndola where I played until 2008, from just academy I moved to chifubu bullets .In 2012 I played for kalewa for a year and moved to chambishi fc. In 2014 I played for lime fc and mining rangers. 2015 I moved to lumwana radiants and 2016 power dynamos where am currently playing.
Soka25east: who has been the Coach that has had the most influence in your career
Mutale: George chilufya. My coach at Lime and Lumwana. He has done a lot in my life not only in me but he has been like a father 2 me. He mostly made me into what iam. He has been more than a football coach to me,he also coached me life wise.
Soka25east : How has been the support from the family
Mutale : My family has given me so much support especially my parents and my sisters.
Soka25east :Who is you role model in football and why?
Mutale: Paul Pogba.I like the way he plays. I want to play exactly like him.He is a genius midfieder and I want to attain such a level.
Soka25east : How happy are you at Arthur Davies?
Mutale : Power Dynamos has always been a Club a wanted to play for locally. Am 100% happy.
Soka25east : how far do you want to go in your career
Mutale : I want to end up playing in the English Premier League. Its very competitive and every player would want to play their.
