Zambian Super League (ZSL) leaders Zanaco football club have completed the signings of Ghanaian striker Attram Kwame and Congolese midfielder Michel Manzanza both from Groupe Spotive Bazano in the Democratic Republic of Congo until the end of the season.
The development was confirmed by the club chairman, Edward Mutale.
“We have signed Kwame and Manzanza until the end of the season.
Their International Transfer Certificates (ITC) have already been sent and the players have also finalized the registration process with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).
“Their deals can be extended based on their performance during the remaining part of the season.” Mutale added.
The Bankers who finished runner up last season are favorites to clinch the title this season. They are currently perched at the helm of the log with 49 points, 11 clear of second placed Nkana.
Zanaco have also scored the most number of goals in the league, shaking the net 42 times while conceding just six. Their top striker Walter Bwalya is one of the leading top scorers in the league with 12 goals same as Zesco United and Kenyan international striker Jesse Were.
Kwame has his work cut out and he will have to double his efforts to fight for place in the team along side Bwalya who has proved effective and reliable.
