The first game of Week three pits the league leaders who take on Mufulira Blackpool in Kitwe’s Arthur Davies Stadium. This is a big game for Blackpool who should have defeat at all cost in fear of going to the foot of the table. They face Nkana who are the league top scorers having scored five goals in two games with three scored by Walter Bwalya the current top scorer. Blackpool has played one game as their second game was postponed in week two against Green Buffaloes who had players at National Team.
Blackpool should work on their stadium the soonest as these home games away from home are disdavanging them worse off playing an way game against Nkana in Kitwe in the home town of Nkana will be too much to ask for a good response from Mufulira Blackpool. This will be a third win for Nkana in the third game of the season. If Walter Bwalya scores, it will be the first time he is scoring three in a roll for Nkana.

This is the game of the week for me and it will be a good game to watch especially for the neutrals. Power Dynamos is at home and will be seriously hoping to avoid defeat after the 2-1 loss to Nchanga in week two. Already with only two games played Tenant Chilumba is feeling the heat and very soon fans will start calling for his sacking if results don’t improve. So this is a must win. Zesco won both games last season in the Super League against Power Dynamos and the balance of Power was confirmed shifting but the confirmation was derailed during the Charity Shield semi-final when Power ejected Zesco through penalty shoot outs.

But this is a different ball game and the first of Zesco United this season in the league after being engaged in CAF Champions League encounters that have seen them miss out the two league games.
Zesco has a big squad and they will be strong for Power Dynamos while the host won’t accept to be intimidated at their home. I like the way Julius Situmbeko the Selfie is approaching this season and he will be a big factor if Zesco is to be inflicted pain in this encounter.

I will go for a home win in this encounter.

NAPSA were very unfortunate at Athur Davies Stadium against Power Dynamos in the first game of the season and that loss was not deserved. They played well and deserved to win that game. That game should give them so much confidence coming Nkoloma Stadium to face Red Arrows that are also hoping they would get back to winning ways after a draw away to Lumwana Radiants after they failed to keep the lead via Bruce Musankanya goal.
This one will be an interesting Lusaka derby game and NAPSA will push for a win. Red Arrows were not so good at home last season and they will be hoping they start the home form in very good style against NAPSA Stars.

Lusaka Tigers Vs Lusaka Dynamos

Another Lusaka derby at Independence Stadium sees the Lusaka named teams go for each other and Tigers will hope the first game fortune against Nchanga Rangers at Independence Stadium continues with the team. They beat a weakened Nchanga rangers 1-0 to pick the three points that keeps them on 8th position and should they manage to beat Lusaka Dynamos, they would be headed to six points above Lusaka Dynamos.
But Dynamos welcome Conlyde Luchanga to the team after missing the Kabwe Warriors encounter due to national team commitment and another boost. Thomas Mambolela is also fit and it is good that goals are not only coming from Conlyde.
For me Dynamos are more experienced than Tigers and I tip them to win this one but the crowd at Matero has a good backing of their local team.

Forest Rangers Vs Lumwana Radiants

Forest Rangers is so far the only team with two draws from two attained from Mufulira Wanderers home game and away game to Nakambala in week two. They welcome the pride of North Western Province in Lumwana Radiants who themselves have got one point from the draw at home to Red Arrows and that will give them more confidence going into this game against Forest Rangers.
I don’t know why Forest fail to score comparing at the way they are playing their football. Forest will be one of the difficult teams to beat this season because if they are to work on the weaknesses, Rangers will beat most of the teams. They are facing Lumwana very confident but Lumwana know this one won’t be an easy fixture. It’s at the magnificent Levy Mwanawasa Stadium and just playing football in that ground is motivation enough and that will motivate Lumwana as Forest are already getting used to the idea of playing in the magnificent stadium. This will be another draw for these sides.

Kabwe Warriors Vs Green Buffaloes

I expected Kabwe Warriors t beat Lusaka Dynamos in Lusaka but they fired blanks and this has exposed the weakness of Kabwe Warriors, Upfront they have work to do. They have responded to that weakness by getting Josephat Kasusu on loan from Nkana and I don’t know if this will turn the missed chances into goals but it’s a good statement. Green Buffaloes won’t be an easy side to beat this season too and they have talent and that is testament to the number of players thy have at the national team. If Bilton Musonda can use these players well, GBFC will fighting for the title this season. It’s one of the teams with a complete squad in the country currently. Bilton Musonda should stop blaming FAZ and National duties for the fatigue and failures of his team if they fail to win games. He has talent now and he needs to know how to win games.
Kabwe Warriors though won’t just accept to donate points to Green Buffaloes and this will be a home win.

Nkwazi has now played two games and lost two, the other team with that record is Green Eagles. Nkwazi at home should improve and beat Nakambala with Erick Chomba enjoying scoring it looks like this will be his season.

Nakambala strong at home will have to be strong away too to avoid that rallying of results towards the end of the season. This is their first away game but I think Nkwazi in trying so much to avoid defeat will perform. Chikwanda has started very bad so far and this am sure is the turning round.

Green Eagles got the better of Mufulira Wanderers last season by collecting four points from the Mopani sponsored side. They beat Mighty Mufulira Wanderers 2-1 in Choma and drew 0-0 in Mufulira. This is the record that Mufulira Wanderers will be hoping to erase.
This will be another test for Mufulira Wanderers to improve where they failed to win last season and Choma is always difficult. I don’t see where the goals for Green Eagles will come from but then their defence looks to be getting better each day.

This is the last game of the busy week and Nchanga Rangers, Zanaco hoping to do two out of two while Nchanga Rangers hoping to continue stopping teams from dreaming of the title so early in the season. Nchanga brought reality to Power last week and if Zanaco is to take this encounter casual then we expect the same beating by Nchanga Rangers.
I like Zanaco on the road and not at home and this is the only route of success that I see Zanaco in this encounter. Zanaco will be hoping not to stay far from the top four and hence will beat Nchanga Rangers in this encounter.
