THE JACKSONS SENDS NKANA THIRD AS THEY BEAT RED ARROWS
ZESCO UNITED 2-0 RED ARROWS
The week four rescheduled encounter between Zesco United and Red Arrows ended in a 2-0 victory for Zesco who claimed second spot from NKANA on goal difference with a game played at Levy Mwanawasa on Wednesday afternoon.
The two goals were scored by the two JACKSONS. Mwanza scored in the first half and Were scored in the second half.
That’s a ninth victory for Zesco United and consequently the fifth loss for Red Arrows .
Zesco are on course to catch up with ZANACO on 40 points it they have to beat GBFC over the weekend, Mufulira Wanderers on Tuesday 12th June and Nakambala Leopards and as well as eclipse the now 11 goal difference adrift of ZANACO.
Red Arrows are 11th on 20 points and goal difference of -4 and will have to perform much better in the second round if relegation fears are not to engulf the Airmen.
