The Chipolopolo of Zambia have continued preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Lusaka under the watchful eye of coach Avram Grant and his technical bench.
Grant and his staff oversaw a morning session at National Heroes Stadium with the lads falling into rhythm on the third day of training.
All the 30 players summoned for duty are in camp except the quartet of Patson Daka (Leicester City), Fashion Sakala (Al Fayha-Saudi Arabia), Frankie Musonda (Ayr United) and Lameck Banda (Lecce-Italy).
Avram Grant will announce a squad of at least 27 players prior to the team’s departure for Saudi Arabia on January 1.
Zambia will set up base in Jeddah where they will play Cameroon and another team as part of intensified preparations for the AFCON.
The Chipolopolo are in Group F alongside Morocco, Congo DR and Tanzania.
Zambia’s opening match is on January 17 at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro against the Leopards of Congo.
