FAZ MTN SUPER LEAGUE WEEK 27 DONE
MUFULIRA WANDERERS FACE RELEGATION WHILE MUFULIRA BLACKPOOL ARE ALMOST CONFIRMED GOING DOWN
**************************************
WINNERS AND LOSERS
MUFULIRA BLACKPOOL 0-2 FOREST RANGERS
Another loss of Mufulira Blackpool and that is loss number 17 and remain 11 points off their nearest team above Lusaka Tigers. We are know that Mufulira Blackpool is destined for division one but what we don’t know is when exactly they will be confirmed going down.
For Forest Rangers it is probably a win that is a sigh of relief as they craw up away from the relegation threatened positions. Lit was Felix Nyaenda’s 10th goal of the season that made Forest Rangers lead and Logic Chin’gandu scored the second to condemn Mufulira Blackpool to their 17th loss of the season. Forest Rangers have done a double over Mufulira Blackpool after beating them 1-0 in Ndola in the first round. Forest Rangers are now 8th, three points off Kabwe Warriors
KABWE WARRIORS 0-1 RED ARROWS
Kabwe Warriors only lost the second at home this season to Red Arrows the specialists of one one goal per game. That win means Red Arrows leapfrogs Kabwe Warriors and and go sixth behind ZESCO United. The only goal of the game was scored by Bruce MUsakanya who scored only his second goal of the season. He last scored away at Lumwana where he also got injured. He is back and what a come back with a goal away at Kabwe Warriors. The two teams played to a goalless draw at Nkoloma stadium in the first round.
Congratulations Red Arrows and Bruce Musakanyana. Relegation is out of the picture for now.
GREEN BUFFALOES 4-1 MUFULIRA WANDERERS
If you are a follower and supporter of Mufulira Wanderers and you still have some doubt of relegation, that fear is almost reality as again the team failed to maintain the lead and went behind 4-1 away to Green Buffaloes. That’s the fourth lose Mufulira Wanderers is losing to Green Buffaloes in the last four games.
Mufulira Wanderers are rooted in the relegation zone on 27 points and they have only won four games, drawn 15 and lost 8. The sight of the goal difference is also not impressive after conceding 29 goals and in the process scoring 18 with the goal difference of -11.
Mufulira Wanderers now have to put up a very good run to survive and they face their Mopani counterpart Nkana in the next fixture in week 28.

DRAWS
GREEN EAGLES 0-0 NKWAZI
This is the only game that produced no goal in week 27 and its not a so good result to Green Eagles who are just a point from Mufulira Wanderers. For Nkwazi though not yet safe, they will take a point away Green Eagles as valuable especially after ending the game with 10 men.

ALREADY PLAYED
Power Dynamos 1-0 Nkana
Nchanga Rangers 0-1 NAPSA
Lusaka Dynamos 1-1 Nakambala Leopards

MY STATISTICS
NUMBER OF GOALS SCORED: 8
BEST TEAM OF WEEK 27:
GREEN BUFFALOES
Scoring four after going down to a goal means serious concentration and ready for the game. Allan Mukuka two goals pushed the three points for GBFC.
MOST IMPROVED:
NKWAZI
Nkwazi are doing very well all of a sudden. After beating Power Dynamos and traveling to Choma to pick a point isn’t a bad result because if the game was not played and Nkwazi are asked to get a point they wouldn’t hesitate.
RELEGATION FEARS:
MUFULIRA WANDERERS
Mufulira Wanderers joined Lusaka Tigers and Mufulira Blackpool as teams in real danger of relegation.
